Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Forum6 platform, website and services (collectively, the "Platform"), which are operated by Forum6 Global Limited, a company incorporated in New Zealand ("Forum6", "we", "our" or "us").
By creating a Forum6 account, attending an event, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.
2. Membership & Eligibility
Forum6 is a membership-based professional networking community. To use the Platform you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts.
Membership is by application. We reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our discretion. Your membership is personal to you and may not be transferred or shared.
There are monthly and annual membership tiers. Membership fees, where applicable, are payable in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
3. Your Profile & Account
You must keep your account credentials secure and are responsible for all activity under your account.
A complete profile is required to create, accept or request to join events. You agree that the information you provide will be accurate, current and not misleading. We may remove or suspend profiles that are incomplete, false or otherwise do not meet community standards.
You are responsible for the content you post and the messages you send. You must not use the Platform to harass, mislead, defame or harm any other member.
4. Events, Invitations & Capacity
Forum6 events are curated, small-group, in-person gatherings. Each event has a maximum of six confirmed attendees. Organisers may invite up to ten members in total; those beyond the six confirmed seats form an overflow list and are offered a seat first if one opens.
Invitations are sent at the organiser's discretion. Spots are allocated on a first come, first served basis once a member accepts. Forum6 does not guarantee that any member will be invited to any particular event.
Event details, dates, venues and themes may change. Organisers will use reasonable efforts to notify attendees of material changes.
5. Cancellations & No-Show Policy
If you can no longer attend an event you have confirmed, you must cancel your RSVP through the Platform as early as possible. A cancellation made less than eight hours before the event is treated as a late cancellation and recorded as a no-show.
Confirmed attendees who do not attend an event without cancelling are recorded as a no-show. Chronic no-shows and late cancellations undermine the experience for everyone and may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of your membership.
Organisers may cancel or reschedule events. Where an event is cancelled by the organiser, any fees paid specifically for that event (if any) will be addressed in accordance with our refund policy.
6. Conduct & Community Standards
Forum6 exists to help professionals build genuine, respectful connections. You agree to treat other members, organisers, venue staff and our team with courtesy and respect at all times.
You must not use the Platform to: (a) send unsolicited commercial messages or spam; (b) solicit or promote illegal, fraudulent or deceptive activity; (c) discriminate against, harass or intimidate anyone; (d) share false or misleading information; or (e) attempt to disrupt or harm the Platform or its users.
We may investigate and take action — including warning, suspending or removing members — where conduct falls below these standards.
7. Messaging & Privacy Between Members
Messaging between members is available within the context of events you have attended or accepted, to keep conversations relevant and trusted.
You are responsible for your communications. Do not share another member's personal information without their consent. Be mindful that messages may be retained for safety and dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Fees, Billing & Refunds
Membership fees are billed in advance on the billing cycle you select. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel your membership renewal at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
We may change our fees with reasonable advance notice. Any change applies to the next renewal and does not affect the current paid period.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its branding, design and content, is owned by Forum6 and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute Platform materials without our permission.
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content, you grant Forum6 a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating our services.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Forum6 excludes warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
Forum6 is a facilitator of connections and is not a party to interactions between members. We are not responsible for the conduct of members at events or for the outcome of any relationship formed through the Platform.
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and in any event to the membership fees you have paid in the three months preceding the relevant claim.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms, behave in a way that harms the community, or where required to protect other members or Forum6.
You may cancel your membership at any time. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends, though these Terms continue to apply to your past use.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or the Platform will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your jurisdiction.
14. Contact
